The long awaited, extremely anticipated, moment that Waterloo has been waiting for... is ALMOST here!
We are one step closer to bringing fast, reliable, affordable, local, fiber internet to Waterloo. This past month we've been releasing neighborhoods from pre-sign-up to sign-up mode, meaning that we are starting the process of getting the fiber dropped to the home. There will be a slight delay as we finish some networking items and then we will be doing installs.
Those who have done a pre-sign-up already, have found the value in doing so as they are the first to get our emails that their area has been released! If you have not done this yet, we highly recommend going to www.waterloofiber.com and hitting Get Started by putting your email, address, and information in our queue. This also gives us an idea to plan and prep our crews as we get ready to go into your neighborhood.
We are still doing our overall project construction while this goes on. As a reminder, this is a three year project in order to get all of Waterloo the same fast, reliable, affordable, local, fiber internet we all deserve! We appreciate your patience and understand that this wait is long for many. We promise it will be worth it.
We look forward to hearing from our future customers about the local support that they're receiving, and the quality of our great product coming to market. Our Mayor, City of Waterloo, Board, and staff have worked really hard to get this off the ground and it is amazing to see it finally all coming together!
