What's Going on With Waterloo Fiber?
The air is getting chilly and the leaves are crunching - November is here! At Waterloo Fiber, we’re keeping busy with downtown events, food drives, and working on opening up our next phase for service. We’ll continue to push out updates as we are able to provide them.
With the upcoming holidays this month, please note that our office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veteran’s Day. We will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27th) and the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 28th). We will send out a reminder as it gets closer to these holidays.
Downtown Waterloo's Trick-or-Treat
Waterloo Fiber recently took part in Waterloo’s Downtown Trick-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 25th, and we had a blast! We hosted a photo booth, handed out treat bags, and connected with the community. Everyone’s costumes were so fun to see, and our staff even had a little fun dressing up! In total, we had about 1,500 people at this event. We’re excited to do it again next year!
Holiday Food Drive
We’re currently hosting a food drive for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank until November 18th. Items we’re looking for include non-perishables and canned goods for the holiday season, like mashed potatoes, canned green beans, stuffing mix, etc., but anything helps! Please drop off donations to our office, located at 402 E 4th St. in Waterloo.
