Hey, neighbor! It’s been awhile! We wanted to check in and let you know what’s been happening here. Our staff and crews have been busy working to get you fast, reliable internet in Waterloo, and we wanted to share a few updates as we wrap up underground construction and continue working on getting everyone connected.

We understand that it feels like the deployment of this fiber network is taking awhile. We want to thank you all for your patience as we navigate through the unexpected twists and turns we encounter along the way.

We recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for our new building at 402 E 4th St. in Waterloo. Here, you’ll be able to find some of the people that make up the Waterloo Fiber team. Stop by to say hi!

In June, we participated in the My Waterloo Days parade with journalist Ron Steele! Our crew cruised through downtown Waterloo and enjoyed bring involved in our community. As the summer winds down, we’re already working on ideas for next year’s float.

Summer is coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean we’re done getting involved in Waterloo’s events!



On September 27th, we’ll be attending Notes of the District. This is a special event to celebrate those who have been working hard to make downtown Waterloo great!



We’ll also be participating in Main Street Waterloo’s Spooky Loo event, where there will be historic haunted tours, scary ghost stories, and downtown trick-or-treating! Don’t miss out on the fun, it’ll be a hauntingly good time! Stay tuned for updates.
